How to Book
The easiest way to book is via the website, simply select What’s On in our navigation bar and select the production you wish to buy tickets for.
Box Office
Tickets may be booked from our Box Office by telephoning 08444 821 556 (booking fee applies, calls cost 5.1p a minute from a BT landline, mobiles may vary) Monday to Saturday, 10am–6pm closed Sundays. Tickets can also be booked in person at our Box Office in the foyer, also open Monday – Saturday 10am–8pm (performance days), 10am–6pm (non-performance days) and Sunday at least 1 hour prior to performance start (closed if no performance). We regret that advance bookings for future shows will stop 30 minutes before a performance begins. When booking through our website the system is designed not to leave any one seat stranded at the end of a row or stuck between selected seats. Whilst we appreciate that this may cause frustration where ticket availability is limited, a single seat is very likely to remain unsold whereas groups of seats in higher multiples will usually sell when available.
Booking Fees
Tickets purchased by phone or online incur a booking fee of £1 per ticket and a single transaction charge of £1.60. No booking fees apply for tickets purchased in person at the Rose Theatre Box Office.
Discounts & Concessions
Only one discount per ticket and only for shows with a duration of more than two nights. All subject to availability. No discounts apply to pit cushion prices. Over 60, unwaged, entertainment union members, children under 16yrs and students £3 off, where it applies.
Rose Saver – How It Works
Book two shows and save £2 per ticket. Book three shows and save £3 per ticket. Book four shows or more and save £4 per ticket. Tickets must be booked simultaneously and only for shows marked Rose Saver. Applies to the top three price bands, Monday – Thursday only.
Groups
Groups of 10 or more enjoy generous discounts on selected shows, call the Box Office for details. Schools, colleges and universities can get tickets from £8 on selected performances for groups of 10 or more, 11th teacher ticket free in every 10.
Rose Theatre Shop
Pre-order your ice creams, programmes and merchandise with your tickets.
Children & Babies
Children under 5 will not be admitted in to the auditorium except for children’s and family shows. For health and safety reasons, all children must be allocated a seat and issued with a ticket. We will not charge an admission fee for babies under 18 months old, but a free ticket must be collected from Box Office. Prams/buggies may be stored in the foyer at the owner’s risk.
Pit Cushions
There are a number of floor places situated in the pit area directly in front of the stage, where audience members can sit on their own or hire a cushion. Prices start from £8 on most shows.
Access
Patrons with disabilities enjoy half price tickets. The rose is a fully accessible and inclusive organisation and we welcome all members of the community. Please check our Access page for more information
Latecomers
We regret latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded unless the performance is cancelled or postponed.
