Rose Plus Players

Rose Plus Players is our resident acting group open for anyone aged over 18 and there’s no upper limit, we’re very keen to encourage a diverse group.

Acting experience is not essential, but you will need enthusiasm and a willingness to commit to a demanding and challenging set of classes. We explore major practitioners, methods of working on different styles of text, improvisation and vocal techniques that are applicable to many different areas of life.

Guest directors will work with you on specialist skills and there will be a performance, where possible, at the end of each term’s course.

Whether you are keen to train professionally, are an enthusiastic amateur, or have always hankered to know more about acting, this is a great way to spend your Monday evenings.

Tackle the fundamentals of acting through voice, movement and a series of practical workshops on professional technique. Whether you are a prolific thespian or treading the boards for the first time, this is an enormously enjoyable and challenging course that culminates with a public performance.
