Join the Rose Plus Choir, and West End soloists including Noa Bodner and Richard Hartley-Wilson, to perform a full concert, learned and rehearsed in just one day.

Not sure how to spend your Saturday? Join Musical Director Eamonn O'Dwyer and his fearless band of singers as they meet, rehearse and perform a Jubilee-themed concert in a day!

The programme will feature some of the Best of British - as well as a few tunes from elsewhere written for our Fair Isle! Three West End soloists complete the line-up in what promises to be a challenging and rewarding day of singing. All levels of ability and experience are warmly welcome.

Join up to 100 people on our stage to rehearse and perform a full public concert in one day.

You don’t need to be able to read music or have singing experience, but you do need enthusiasm and stamina. It’s a challenging, exhausting day, but the concert you give at the end of it will be something you never forget!

The end-of-day concert will be the Rose Plus Choir Performance.

That was a fun day yesterday.Even us altos got most of it right, simple is good when you have such a wide range of abilities. I would certainly love to do it again sometime, which was not what I said after Christmas which for me was too difficult. Ps Love your staff at the Rose all so friendly and helpful.

Noa Bodner

Noa trained in her home country of Israel and did a further year of Post Graduate training at the Royal Academy of Music, Musical Theatre Course in London.

Noa is a recording artist and professional Harmonica player, who collaborates with different musicians on various projects.

Richard Hartley-Wilson

Richard Hartley-Wilson gained a First Class BA (hons) in Performing Arts at Middlesex University before training at the Royal Academy of Music on the musical theatre course receiving a scholarship and the Mary Hammond Masterclass Award for acting through song. He works extensively as a singer, and vocal coach.

Eamonn O’Dwyer, Musical Director

Eamonn trained at the Royal Academy of Music, and has worked as a musical director and composer in theatres all over the UK and the world. From 2009-2011 he played the role of the Song Man in the National Theatre’s multi-award winning War Horse in London’s West End. His musical The House of Mirrors & Hearts won the MTM Award for Best Original Score at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010 and is currently in development for a London run. He has been shortlisted for both the 2012 Stiles & Drewe Song Competition and the inaugural Craig Barbour Composition Award. For the Rose Theatre he has written and arranged music for a variety of productions, including Stephen Unwin’s A Christmas Carol, Ciaran McConville’s Hamlet and Our Town, and the forthcoming IYAF’s The Caucasian Chalk Circle.
