Rose Theatre Kingston’s Time to Talk series has seen some of the most respected and admired actors, writers and public figures open up about their lives and work in the intimate setting of our main auditorium.

A Kingston local, Michael Frayn grew up in Surrey and attended Kingston Grammar School. He has the rare ability to move freely between plays and novels, and has met with great acclaim in both areas. His plays include Noises Off, Benefactors, Copenhagen, Democracy and Here whilst his novels include the Whitbread Prize-winning Spies (2002) and the Man Booker Prize-shortlisted Headlong (1999). Michael's book about philosophy The Human Touch was published by Faber in 2006.
