Euphonix Choir

The Euphonix Choir will commence rehearsals again on Wednesday 1 September, with the first lunch time concert of the new term taking place at Midday on October the 13th.  More details can be found at the website below.

'Euphonix is an affordable, inclusive community choir led by Musical Director Dominic Stichbury'

Euphonix is a community choir with a difference, open to any adult of any age who likes to sing contemporary and popular songs, including folk and world music. We rehearse weekly on Wednesday mornings in the Rose theatre upper circle and offer an inclusive, affordable experience of the benefits of singing with others: companionship, developing musical skills and confidence and pure enjoyment.

Please check term dates, availability of places and the Euphonix programme at http://www.euphonix.org.uk/ or call 020 8546 4086 or 020 8549 1725.

Our name comes from the same roots as:

- Euphonia: any of several small birds of the genus Euphonia, having a melodious song, most species of which have yellow and glossy black plumage.

- Euphony: the quality of having a pleasing sound

Euphonix will be giving one of their informal "end-of-term" concerts of contemporary and classic pop, folk and world music in the Culture Café - everyone welcome to come along and enjoy. We currently have a waiting list to join - see http://www.euphonix.org.uk/ for more information.
