Trusts and Foundations

The Rose has vast potential to engage all sectors of the community from school children to social welfare groups.

We are currently developing an education policy and programme which aims to:

  • Engage all local schools, colleges and community groups
  • Produce a creative and distinctive programme of workshops, covering a variety of disciplines from drama to dance and music
  • Provide an extensive programme of talks, workshops and seminars focused around our key theme of the Spoken Word
  • Develop in-house training for emerging directors, actors and theatre technicians
  • Offer vocational training for Drama students at Kingston University who are looking to develop careers as theatre professionals

To realise our vision of the Rose being a theatre for everyone, continually busy with people exploring and pushing the boundaries of performing art, the support of Trusts and Foundations who believe in our work is vital to our theatre's future sustainability.

We are just at the beginning and it is a perfect time for Trusts and Foundations to be involved in really making a difference.
