Robert Hooke was an ingenious seventeenth century polymath; a fine artist, superb engineer, brilliant scientist and accomplished architect. Yet Hooke was written out of history. Even his portrait mysteriously disappeared. Was England's Leonardo buried by another Da Vinci plot? In hot blooded times, passions explode. This tale of intrigue and betrayal celebrates the 350th anniversary of the Royal Society.
