'World-class musicians ... a brilliant musical force' The Telegraph
'They brilliantly continue the tradition of Big Band music. As such they are important, as well as marvellous!' Michael Parkinson

Featuring world-class live music, alongside projected archive images, The BBC Big Band and their special guest vocalist present a very special concert celebrating the centenary of the birth of one and only Nat 'King' Cole.

Through a diverse and unique repertoire, arranged and curated by the BBC Big Band’s conductor, Barry Forgie, the concert celebrates the life and music of perhaps the most iconic vocalists of the Twentieth Century - whose legacy and influence continues to form a cornerstone popular culture and crossed the boundaries of jazz and popular music.

Featuring classic versions of Nat's most famous songs, alongside a selection of music from the bands and orchestras that Nat loved to work with, all set against a backdrop of projected images and footage – this is an evening of world-class entertainment which is not to be missed!
