Chirag Lukha is a multidisciplinary performer, choreographer and director specialising in physical theatre, circus acrobatics, martial arts and magic. He has trained in various styles from renowned masters in Shaolin Kung fu, Wushu and Karate having acquired black belts to the 2nd and 4th degree as well as being hailed the ‘British all round Best’. He was the undefeated Grand National Champion for four years and represented Team England to become world number 5. He has 40 other national and international titles to his name.
Lukha’s training in theatre and dance has been from equally renowned masters. His performance career has seen him in a range of leading and supporting roles in acclaimed musicals, Shakespearean dramas, dance, magic and physical theatre shows in classical, abstract and contemporary fashions. These have toured around the world including France, Germany, USA, India, Bahrain, Dubai and Egypt to name a few.
His notable performances are his solo works at Falls View Casino which were seen by thousands of people as they were projected onto Niagara Falls and when he performed for the Royalty of Dubai which was seen by over 100,000 people live in 2008. His recent work includes fight choreography for the national tour of Cymbeline, directing The Nautch Girl. In 2015 he wrote and directed the dance circus production Fangs of Fortune.
