Theatre credits include: Macbeth (Sheffield Crucible); Chairs and Three Sisters (Lyric Hammersmith); Attempts on Her Life and The Strangeness of Others (National Theatre); Enemies, Camera Obscura, The Winter Guest, The Deep Blue Sea, Nana and The Seagull (Almeida); The Kitchen and Attempts on Her Life (Royal Court Theatre). Sandra has also appeared in productions for the RSC, National Theatre of Scotland, The Royal Exchange, Shared Experience, The Bush Theatre, The Crucible Theatre, The Lyric Hammersmith, The Sheffield Crucible and many others. Most recently she appeared in Motherland at The New Diorama Theatre.

She also played the part of Camilla Pocket in the Emmy nominated television version of Great Expectations.
