Kay is an Associate Artist at Curve.

Theatre credits include: A Streetcar Named Desire (Curve); The Solid Gold Cadillac (Garrick); Dangerous Corner (West Yorkshire Playhouse/West End); Round the Horne… Revisited and Dracula (National Tours); Singin’ in the Rain (West Yorkshire Playhouse, NT/National tour); Aspects of Love, All The Fun of the Fair, The Witches of Eastwick, James and the Giant Peach and Kes (National tours); Great Expectations (ETT/Watford and National tour); Beautiful Thing (National tour and Arts Theatre) and Sweeney Todd (Royal Festival Hall).

Kay was resident at the West Yorkshire Playhouse for 17 years where she cast many shows including Hamlet, The McKellen Ensemble Season, The Patrick Stewart Priestley Season, and she still casts regularly for the theatre where she is an Associate Artist. She also casts regularly for Derby Theatre, Sherman Cymru, Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, Birmingham Stage Company and various other venues around the country.

She has just completed casting on Walk Like a Panther, a pilot TV for Finite films.

Kay is a member of the Casting Director’s Guild of Great Britain (CDG).
