Lorca's Blood Wedding

Blood Wedding is a major work by Spanish playwright Federico Garcia Lorca focusing on a woman and the two men who love her. This is an immersive production that uses movement and music to enhance the poetic language. Created through workshop-based activities, the performance is designed to give the audience the freedom to exist in the world of the play. Live music and movement help to create a unique individual experience.

Surbiton High School's Senior Drama Company are highly skilled, experienced and knowledgeable about a range of theoretical and practical movements and trends in theatre. Pupils are encouraged to explore passionately and meet new challenges head on; ambitious to achieve way beyond what is expected of them.
