Based on real life stories, (not)Alone explores the challenges faced by people with mental health issues. Focussing on a variety of individuals and the struggles they face, it highlights how, by being an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on, we can all make a difference, big or small, to sufferers.
Understand Theatre Company is made up of a group of final year Kingston University students. Each member of the company comes from a completely different background and use their own personal experiences, as well as other people’s, to help create the work. Their main aim is to steer clear of the word “awareness” and focus on the word “understand”.
